About this course

This class covers the 2024 ICC Codes and the 2023 NFPA 855. The International Code Council (ICC) Codes covered are primarily the International Fire Code (IFC) and the International Residential Code (IRC). NFPA 855 The Standard for the Installation of Stationary Energy Storage Systems is also covered as it relates to the adopted ICC codes.

Bill Brooks not only understands these codes better than anyone, he has a lot of insight into why they were written the way they were, which can also be entertaining, besides being educational. These videos were recorded at the headquarters of Brooks Engineering.

Sean White spends a majority of his time focusing on education and making solar and storage technical details understandable to the masses.

Bill and Sean teach solar and storage Code full-day workshops at the major North American conferences and write books on these subjects.
