Learn the elements of energy storage for residential and commercial clients with this introductory overview of the field, led by expert Chris LaForge.

There is a lot of buzz around utilizing renewable energy technologies and going "off the grid." But, which energy storage systems work best? When are they appropriate to use? Is integrating energy storage the right choice?

You'll access an in-depth lecture, and develop a "Load Profile" using Chris' Excel spread sheet tool. This tool will help students practice defining the client load for an off-grid application or for the critical loads of a grid-tied system with storage.
