HeatSpring Plus is a $24/month subscription that keeps your purchased courses available after your one year of access ends, so you never have to buy a course twice. Plus was formerly called HeatSpring Membership. Here's what you get:

1. Continued access to your paid courses. Sometimes people get busy and don't finish a course within their year of access. This is the original reason we created Plus. Keep your subscription for as long as you need to finish the course and earn your certificate of completion.
2. Certificates of completion for all free courses. Many teams use our free courses for learning and professional development. Certificates help with tracking progress and staying motivated, which makes Plus an affordable way to get better results for your team.

Plus is designed to lower the barrier to learning so you can make professional development a regular habit.

HeatSpring Pro includes everything in Plus, along with access to every course and badge in the Pro catalog. That's 25 courses for about the price of one, with more being added. Yes. Team training leaders can purchase a HeatSpring Plus or Pro subscription for any teammate directly from the dashboard.

1. Log into HeatSpring and click My Team at the top right.
2. Go to the Buy plan seats tab in the left-side menu.
3. Select either Plus or Pro subscription and click buy seats button.
4. Select which teammate(s) will be receiving the subscription and click then buy seats. 

Your team discount will be applied automatically.

HeatSpring subscribers can easily update the credit card number on file for their Plus or Pro plan. Just log into your account at https://heatspring.com/signin then click "My Account" at the top right. Then, navigate to your subscription page by clicking "Billing" located in the left-side menu. There, you can update your card or cancel your subscription under the "Subscriptions" section on the "Billing" page.

Credit card transactions are processed securely with Stripe. All credit card data is passed directly to Stripe and stored in their vault and HeatSpring never stores nor sees credit card numbers.

Updating your credit card through your HeatSpring account will update the card on file in the Stripe vault to be used for the monthly or yearly subscription charges. HeatSpring will also send out notification emails if a charge to your card fails with a quick link to update the card from the email. Updating your card through either method is acceptable.

HeatSpring Plus and Pro subscribers can download PDF copies of their subscription receipts.

1. Log into your account at https://heatspring.com/signin.
2. Click My Account at the top right.
3. Click Billing on the left-side menu.
4. View all past charges under the Payment history section. Simply click "View receipt" for the charge where a PDF record is needed.

HeatSpring Plus gives you continued access to every paid course in your HeatSpring account, including courses past their one year of access. Any course you've purchased becomes available again for as long as your Plus subscription is active.

You'll find these courses in your account under My courses under either the "In Progress" tab with the note "Access expired" or under the "Completed" tab.

Have courses in more than one account?

Some learners have purchased courses under different HeatSpring accounts over the years, often with a work email and a personal email. We can merge those accounts into one so your Plus subscription covers all of your courses. Contact us at support@heatspring.com with the email addresses for each account, and we'll combine them for you.

You can cancel your HeatSpring Plus or Pro subscription online anytime.

1. Log into your account at https://heatspring.com/signin.
2. Click My Account at the top right.
3. Click My plan in the left-side menu.
4. Click Cancel Subscription.

You'll receive an email confirming your cancellation. Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll lose access to expired courses and any Pro catalog courses.

You can reactivate your subscription anytime and pick up where you left off. Pricing may change while your subscription is inactive.

HeatSpring Pro is a premium subscription that gives you access to a library of specialized courses organized into learning paths we call badges. Complete all courses within a badge and pass the final exam to earn it. Your Pro subscription includes unlimited access to all Pro courses and the opportunity to earn every available proficiency badge.

You can see all the courses currently included in Pro in the Pro library. Courses included in Pro are also labeled on their course landing pages, and we add new courses regularly.

Pro also includes everything in HeatSpring Plus:

You have access to Pro courses for as long as your subscription is active. Pro is $89/month or $890/year, and team discounts are available on annual subscriptions through HeatSpring for Teams.

HeatSpring proficiency badges demonstrate a commitment to professional development and validate the holder’s knowledge of emerging industry trends.

How to earn a badge?

• Complete a series of training courses
• Demonstrate knowledge by passing the final exam

What can badge holders do?

• Discuss technologies intelligently with customers
• Identify opportunities for expanded services
• Support licensed professionals in their work
• Pursue additional licensing and certification

What does a badge NOT do?

• Replace required professional licenses or certifications
• Qualify the holder to work outside their licensed scope
• Guarantee technical competency for all related work
• Serve as professional liability coverage

A HeatSpring proficiency badge is not a certification or license. HeatSpring proficiency badges demonstrate completion of professional development training and knowledge acquisition.

Badge holders must still obtain appropriate licenses, insurance, and certifications required in their jurisdiction.

HeatSpring reserves the right to revoke badges if holders misrepresent their scope, make false claims about licensing equivalency, or otherwise misuse the credential.

Absolutely. You can complete the courses in whichever order makes the most sense for you and your learning journey. 

HeatSpring does make a recommendation for course sequences based on the content of each learning path, but it’s just a suggestion. Feel free to make this program your own!

Individual courses can still be purchased separately, and not every HeatSpring course is included in Pro. The main differences come down to cost and how access works.

Individual courses are a one-time purchase. You get one year of unlimited access to the course materials, and you can extend access after that year with a HeatSpring Plus subscription. Individual purchases work well when you need one specific course, including courses outside the Pro library.

HeatSpring Pro is a subscription that gives you access to every course in the Pro library for as long as your subscription is active. Courses are organized into learning paths called badges, so you can build expertise across a specialty instead of taking courses one at a time. For about the cost of a single course, Pro gives you access to the whole library, and we add new courses regularly.

Pro also includes everything in Plus, so any individual courses you've purchased stay available after their year of access ends.

The final exam becomes available once you've completed all courses in your learning path. Here's what to expect:

Exam Structure

• 50 questions total
• 80% passing score required
• Questions change with each attempt (you won't see the exact same exam twice)

If you don't pass after three unsuccessful attempts, there's a mandatory one-week study period before you can retake the exam. Use this time to review the courses that were most challenging for you, then return refreshed and ready for your next attempt.

No, your badges don't expire. You will be able to see your earned badges and share them publicly, even if your subscription is no longer active.

You'll have access to all Pro courses and content as long as your Pro subscription is active. When your subscription expires, access to Pro content ends immediately.

Good news: You can cancel anytime, and if you decide to rejoin later, we'll remember your progress. All your completed courses, badges, and learning history will be restored and waiting for you.

Yes. HeatSpring for Teams discounts apply to both Plus and Pro annual subscriptions. Depending on your team, you can save 20 to 40%.
