Tim Taylor

Tim has spent over 35 years in electric generation, transmission, and distribution. He recognizes the urgency to act on climate change.

His primary focus is collaborating with stakeholders to understand the complexities of generation and storage interconnections to the electric grid. This encompasses the technical considerations, interconnection procedures and requirements, and the current and emerging regulatory policies and actions involving electric utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and regulatory agencies.

Tim has served as an instructor for electric power courses and been a conference presenter throughout his career. He's is a Senior Member of IEEE and a past member of the Distributech Advisory Committee.

Tim's performed technical and business projects for utilities throughout the US, and worked for equipment manufacturers and business consultants.

Tim lives just outside the Research Triangle in Cary, NC and enjoys salt water fishing, historical fiction and vintage baseball card collecting.
