Chris Klinga

Chris has been actively engaged in the solar industry since 2007. He has an extensive background in solar installation design and product development. He has designed on and off grid PV systems, modules and racking systems. During the first decade of his career Chris worked for Lumos Solar, developing and distributing cutting edge solar modules and racking systems that are some of the most robust architectural solutions on the market today. His innovations have proven to lead the niche market they developed and are currently distributed globally. Beyond serving as the Technical Director of the Architectural Solar Association, Chris is the Principal of SolMotiv, a solar engineering firm focused on integrated solar into the built environment. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO and has obtained NABCEP PV Installer certification. Chris is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado and Texas.
