Kind of
Cool
I have worked promoting the PV's Plants and this course gave me a sight for looking at the best places where the PV's can be.
Tim knows what he is talking about and seems to have a lot of experience.
This help to understand obstacle when adding a DER on the distribution feeder.

The course content was well-structured, covering a wide range of topics from the fundamentals of power distribution to the latest challenges and innovations in the field. The instructors were highly knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter, which made the learning experience engaging and enjoyable.
I recommend all to join this course
I really enjoy the lecture very much and it is helpful to me.
The presentation was very helpful and very useful.
Tim's ability to simplify very complicated subject matter to help someone with basic electrical knowledge is incredible. The fact that this is a free course is great! I hope this enables a higher rate of 'views'.

Such discussions to continue more, to finally evolve a control strategy of inverter- without need to limit the instantaneous power available from a PV field.. Or generate signals to far end rotating machines to accomodate the changes observed due to a change in irradiance ,in the area of the largest PV plant.
Very Informative - Thank you
Nothing
As a solar Engineer I find the course very informative and practicable. am a better Solar engineer after this course thank you.

Come on guys
Extremely well-done presentation with clear, well-explained examples.
Amazing course.
good useful
Nice
This training is very much useful for me and the topic was explained clearly

Great course - even if you just want a better understanding of why utilities require upgrades. We had a voltage issue on one of our projects and this really helped me understand what was going on, why it might be occurring, and possible resolutions.
I recommend all people who work in the field of building science and new energy to participate in this course.
Great intro to the grid as it relates to large scale solar! I recommend this course for all utility energy professionals.
nope didn't enjoya this
This course to me was very interesting because it went deeper than solar energy
My testimonial consist of appreciation and honorship
Helpful and enlightening bits of knowledge from an experienced presenter.
Good work
Thank you for providing the opportunity for this course as this will help me to put better design skills as an engineer.
It really broaden my knowledge about how inverters supplies to the grid and best protection against over voltage.
Thanks for sharing the valuable knowledge
The course is very powerful and gives insights about areas of research , so it is a very useful and informative especially for those young researchers .
Very interesting the contribution of solar energy systems in the electrical distribution networks
Always listed to what an instructor has to say and teach.
I am just an intern at Grid alternatives Colorado but eager to learn all i can about pv and appreciate these videos
Good
Great course. I'd recommend this to anyone working with utilities requiring smart inverter configuration and it also helps explain why certain PV installations, even at smaller than utility scale, require upgrades to the utility.
Utility-Scale Solar PV and Distribution Voltage Challenges with Tim Taylor is a great short course. For someone who knows the basics of utility distribution and DERs, this course is a great next step to understanding more.
This is a great overview of the challenges created by large scale integration of distributed PV. It is easy to understand and a good primer for anybody considering solar.
Great presentation and real time q/a with a live instructor. Thank you!
I would highly recommend this to DG developers who do not understand the utilities pushback.
Excellent Presentation from an amazing presenter. I never felt disengaged during the entire presentation. It was hugely informative and full of information that you only encounter through years of experience. It had a rare combination of theoretical and practical details within the coursework.
I really enjoyed the training, there was a good QA portion as well.
