Comparing my knowledge prior to taking this course to after completion, I feel I have gained much and am in a much better position to take the PVIP exam.

Prior to taking the course I had very limited knowledge of PV and how it is supposed to function. My limited experience was field level installation without any theory. This course in just 18hours has explained many things about PV that I had no prior understanding of. In a very short amount of time my knowledge of PV application/installation has increased dramatically.

I am so glad I dedicated the time and expenses for this course. I struggled with the best way to study for the NABCEP and I feel this really keeps one on track and focused. Great course, great instructor and great material!

I took this course in preparation for the PVIP exam 40-hr prep course. Even with years of Solar installation experience, I learned a tremendous amount from this entry-level course. I feel as though it has filled in the gaps of my knowledge of solar design, installation, and use. This is a great foundation for anyone in the industry, and I am confident in building up to more advanced material from here.

This BOOT Camp was a very good introduction to the solar PV. I now am more comfortable regarding the initial stage of system design and performance estimation.

As a 15-year veteran of the residential solar business, this course was valuable to me for clarifying and reinforcing the "Why" and "How" behind all the "What" I've learned to do over the years. Never too late to learn more, and I'm looking forward to taking (and passing!) the PVIP exam and adding the NABCEP cert to my name and my business. Get started in solar on the right foot with the right knowledge, or build on what you know and move to the next step of expertise and value. More solar, yes, and especially MORE SOLAR DONE RIGHT.

A great course second to none. It seems long but there is so much to get through. A must for PV installers

I absolutely love the way Sean does his lectures. The funny explanations and side notes are great. If all college/other courses were the same way, it would be soooo much easier to stay engaged!

Sean's PVIP course was crucial in preparing for the exam. Despite how complicated the material and process of the exam is, Sean does an excellent job of breaking down all the different sections and making the entire process clear and understandable. His responsiveness to discussion board posts also allowed any confusion or questions to be quickly resolved.

very funny guy, the course is long and technical but Shawn was able to handle it and make it a bit fun.

As a licensed master electrician. I didn't need the NEC over view, Im pretty sure I can thumb my way around the code book.

I would confidently walk out of the 18 hours with a much better idea of the solar industry, and be sure that I could work in the industry knowing what I have learnt is useful in the field.

The Heatspring Solar PV 40-hour Advanced Certification Training was a crucial resource for leveling up my knowledge in the quickly developing solar industry. I am far more confident in my work as a solar operations lead, and can apply it in many different areas throughout the industry. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is taking their training seriously and wants to pursue a career in solar.

This online course is the best of both worlds. The videos allow you to work at your own pace, but the instructor is always able to be reached and is very eager to answer questions or just talk solar.

I had prior experience with both selling solar and installing solar, so I wasn't sure how impactful this course would be. I was immediately impressed with the course layout and educational approach of Mr. White. I picked up a ton on the electrical side of the process and installation. I was mainly on the roof, not in the panel, so it helped a great deal. Again, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get into solar.

I would have no chance of passing this exam without this course. The practice exams and explanations are great ways to make sure I'm accurately applying the information I'm learning. I passed the first practice exam I took, which really reduced my fear and stress surrounding the exam. Super grateful for the information I learned!

If you want to "REALLY" get into this technology, this is a great place to start!

I won't know how effective the course is until I take the exam.

This course is not only good for getting the NABCEP PVIP. It also prepares you to pass electrical exams for Master, or Journeyman. I highly recommend this course.

This course put together by Sean White and Heatspring is invaluable. I took the course and went from being a "new guy" at work to being viewed as an expert. If you are serious about the PV industry - education is the path to success. Cheers to many sunny days ahead!

Before doing this course, I did not much about work safety but having gone through this course I saw the emphasis on safety and the need to apply it in every work environment. So going forward safety is one thing I will consider in every workspace

Would prefer to be anonymous: The instructor was very knowledgeable and engaging and the self paced format allowed me to work at my own pace and let the information sink in.

As someone who has some experience with installation, but who is still learning, this course really helped make sense of the National Electric Code and brought my understanding to a whole different level. In addition to all of the materials, having access to Sean via the discussion forum where you can ask any questions you can think up was also really valuable. I'm feeling much more prepared to take the NABCEP exam than I was when I started.

My knowledge of PV design has increased immensely by taking this course. I would suggest it to anyone pursuing a career in Solar.
