There are a few cases where you might want to change your HeatSpring password. We have outlined some below:
Note: The password reset email will expire in 6 hours for security purposes. If you get an error message that your temporary login has expired, just reset your password again and follow steps 3-5 above within 6 hours.
Typically this means our system email is getting filtered by you email provider into your spam folder or similar. You can try checking directly in your spam or junk mail box. If it is not there, then try adding the email address: team@customer.heatspring.com to your safe sender list or contact list, then try the password reset process again.
In some cases another user will invite you to HeatSpring. When this happens the system will generate 2 new emails for each new account. One will be a 'Welcome to HeatSpring' email with some relevant links and support information. The second email will have the subject 'Important - someone has invited you to HeatSpring' and will have the details for creating a new password. Follow these steps when you receive that email:
If you never receive this email or receive a message that the login has expired, follow the steps in list above titled 'If you forgot your existing password'.
